Our car is rarely seen, at least by me

Just returned home from four days in Oregon (Portland, Corvalis, and Eugene) and didn't see a single S2000 in over 400 miles of driving. Porsches and Bimmers were frequently in evidence.

More may have been imported into the US than our dealers claim, but in most parts, the car is still pretty rare. You gotta love it!

I just spent 4 days in Silicon Valley. I only saw 1 silver stook. I couldn't begin to count the BMW's.

Rick:
I've only seen three in the last 2000 miles (including one from my office window. Wanna do a driveby in Catonsville so we can each add one to our tally?

Rick, I live in Salem Oregon and it is interesting when you go out of town that you don't see any stooks. I travel a lot in the bay area around SF which must have more stooks than any other part of the country and have only seen one in the last 6 months. Now living in Salem I was driving on a back road and here comes my car comming at me. Yes a red stook exactly like mine in Salem then about a mile later a silver. Go figure. It is great to see stooks anywhere.

Greetings,

I live in Tulsa, OK. I've only seen one in town - Silver stock. I hear there's another, but I haven't spotted it.

Funny thing - each time I've seen it there's been a 50+ yr. old lady behind the wheel. She drives it like a cadillac.

Other than local rallys, I have only seen 3 others in Massachusetts. When I was in the Oregon/Washington this past summer, I did see 2 reds, one in Cannon Beach, OR and another outside of Redmond, WA.

Isn't it nice to own such a rare bird?

Sometime ago (1999), I was cruising around the DFW Metroplex area and saw about five in the span of only two hours, including two within just blocks of my house. Since then I've gone months without seeing another.

I know there's about 4 or 5 in my area in St. Louis, but I've only seen 2 of them since Sept. 99.
