They have not been listed in any of the recalls as of yet.

Good deal; after reading the article about a girl getting killed in an 02 civic in Texas today, I was a bit concerned :/

Honda didn't even bother to formally contact the owner of the '02 civic about the Takata situation. What a shame.

It is not possible to recall and perform the reinstall in such a short (relative to manufacturing and engineering) time. Takata, from what I understand, made our bags. I have read that it is a matter of time when ours will receive the recall.

Overall the problem is more prevalent in hot and humid environments. The south. When you look at the numbers, I find it is nothing to lose sleep over.

I read elsewhere that no less than 3 notices were sent out regarding the recall and that owner never responded or scheduled to have the recall work done.

according to what ive seen the s2k airbags are not made by takata, they are made by Autoliv. Also Autoliv is suppose to be helping out takata with making a lot of the new replacement airbags

I had to deal with this on 2 of my cars. Honda FIT and CRV. I was not notified by HONDA. I had to look into it myself. My rentals are paid for by HONDA but supplied by ENTERPRISE RAC. There is a website you can plug in your VIN # if you own other model Honda's and/or Acura's. Stay Safe everyone.
