Default Oval exhaust for AP1

So, the oval exhaust tips of the AP2 grew on me, and now I want oval exhausts tips for the AP1. Did a search and it seems like all the ones so far from the AP2 or aftermarket ones seems to either stick out a little too far and/or sit a little too low because the AP1 exhaust hangers are about half an inch lower. Are there oval tips that would fit the AP1's with these issues or are there ways to resolve these issues without spending a ton of cash?

Damn, those look nice, but I only need the tip. I thought I read somewhere that you could go and buy the AP2 oval tips and mount them on the AP1's, but in order to not have the ovals on the AP1 look like they are hanging too low, you also need to get the AP2 rubber exhaust hangers, is this true? So, AP2 oval tip + rubber exhaust hangers = perfect fit?

Supersprint? Search for that exhaust and I'm sure you'll find a few pictures of it on an AP1 even on an AP2.

SuperSprint has oval tips and sounds great. The tips aren't as big as the OEM AP2 exhaust though ..

If you're just looking to keep the OEM exhaust with AP2 tips, I think it can be done, but some people have shaved off some of the muffler tip to make it not stick out so far.

The Supersprints looks great, but from the picture, it looks like the tip is part of the muffler and not a separate item. I like the oval tips, but am not willing to spend a few hundred to thousands to change out the entire exhaust to get the look. On another note, how are the tips held in place? Is there a bolt or just twist/pull to get it off and on?
