15 years in August since I drove her off the Honda dealers lot. I knew immediately that I would not willingly part with the S and have maintained it with that fact in mind.

I will keep her until I'm no longer able to drive. Then my sons can fight it out....

Twenty years and 2 months of daily driving and a few track days as well. It runs and looks like it will be good for at least 10 to 15 more.

I had a 2004 S2000 that I bought new, and I drove it everyday as a daily commuter for 11 years and multiple track days. I ended up selling my car in 2014 with 275K miles to buddy to buy a Porsche 981 Cayman S. The Porsche was a good car, but in driving it one seem to become detached from the road and it was never as much fun as driving my S2K. The closest car to the S2K in terms of driving fun is an old air-cooled 911, so after 2 years I sold my Cayman and bought another 2004 S2000.

I've owned my 2001 AP1 for 5 years now. It is not my daily driver. Everything people say about the car is true. It is exceptional. I was fortunate to have purchased it from the original owner who took very good care of it, and provided me with up to date service records. I have followed his lead. Since it currently has less than 54,000 miles, I have not experinced any major mechanical or cosmetic problems.. I am 70 yrs old and have no plans to sell the car. My son loves it, and it will be passed on to him.

These cars are so unique and the design/looks are timeless, they will look great 50 years from now. Keep it as long as it is practical and as long as you can enjoy it.

The biggest issue going forward is a lack of parts, I hate how Honda slammed the door on parts for this car, I know they do it for all of their vehicles after a certain age and other manufacturers do too, but this was a special car for them and they should still be supply parts . I bought an 89 Civic project car recently and the entire car is basically off the parts supply list for Honda, the S2000 will get to that point in the future at some point, and the aftermarket hasn't responded all that well yet, I hope it doesn't get as bad as my Civic that would be sad.

I echo this. If it gets to the point that it becomes too difficult to obtain parts, then I'll sell mine.

My 2006 NFR is still as close to mint as they get. 43,000 miles and it lives in my garage with the exception of those few summer days when we take it out. We've owned it since 2009 after owning 2 Mazda Miatas - the last one a Mazdaspeed. This is the best car I have ever owned. I plan on keeping it until the cows come home
