Never had a car payment... have paid for every vehicle with cash... even if it was student loan cash. Can you get a better finance rate? Most people have no idea where their student loan money was after six months... I was riding mine (motorcycle)!
Congrats.

Congrats! Now that the cars yours, you might want to consider switching to liability, it'll save you quite a bit.

Do you plan to keep it or upgrade (Elise, NSX, Caymnan)?

Keep making your payment... into your savings account, for money down on your next car

Assuming there's ever something worth replacing the S2K with, anyway.
These are words of wisdom. You're used to living with the car payment. Make the payment into a savings account for a couple of years, and you'll have a nice emergency fund. Otherwise, it's all too easy to waste the extra money and have nothing to show for it after a couple of years.
Great advice!!! I've always done this.

BTW - My S was paid off in 2005.

<<<<<paid off for two yrs ...leaves lots of cash to "spend" on other things ..ie exhaust wheels intake etc .. congrats on being a good owner and keeping your car long enough to pay it off ...
