Mine is not nearly as bad as some of these pics, but I do have a small spot on my 04 suzuka. I recently took the bumper cover off to install a hitch and it is aligned better now. I am not worrying too much about it. If it spreads I will get it taken care of. Taking the bumper cover off is a very simple job, you all may want to consider doing it to stop the rubbing.

I wonder if this is a downside of the transition from the original Takanezawa factory to the Suzuka factory? Hope you get this fixed under warranty (you should).

^Me too. But I think I would have noticed it on one of the 3 or so times I've waxed it, if it was there.
