paint peeling on fender
Hello everyone,
After taking delivery of my car, I noticed a small paint peeling on the driver side fender. I brought it to the dealer and the service manager told me that they would go ahead and repaint it. He said I didn't have to make any appointments just go ahead and bring the car back when I had the time. A few weeks later I brought the car back and the service manager wasn't there so they ask me to come back another time. Being, I work and didn't have the time I brought the car back when I had my first service done. Now the manager tells me that I had to speak with the district manager and she won't be at the delaership till a certain date, so I made an appoitnment to come back at that date and it turns out that she didn't show up. Then she's on maternity leave. Well it's been a year and 15k miles later and the peel is getting slightly bigger. Can anyone give me some suggestions of what I should do. Or anyone here that works at a Honda dealer here in Socal that can help. BTW, I also notice there are a lot of peels between the rear bumper and the body of the car.
Thanks,
John

I beleive it's a common problem for the paint to chip where the frt bumper meets the panels (same with the rear) it should be covered under warantee ( they may claim to tell you they will fix it under good will)
I have an 03 with 4K miles with this problem on the passenger side fender. It's the little things that bother me. I can see it, but no one else can. I'd rather dab it with touch up then have them repaint and blend the car and mess up the job.
