Thanks to all replies, ers. I'm going to give it a good wash, Mequires and the chamois the finish and look again but I think the surface is pitted like in bad factory paint.

I'm going to have to take it to a shop for a professional opinion because what I think I'm seeing is the results of dust laying on the surface during drying.

I'm reluctant to take it to the deal and campagine for a warranty re-paint because, re-paints are always re-paints and have their own stigma and problems,

Again, Thanks to all.

I have the same problem the day after I paint up my car. But it just looks perfect when it was in the showroom. My dealer put diamond coat (they claim it contains telfon and has lifetime warrannt) It looks like somekind of 3D effect reflect under the sunlight now.

Did you guys find out how to solve it yet? Who has this problem and actually solved it?

kingfai,

My problem was surface contamination. I used a " clay bar" and it did the trick, no more white stars when I wax the finish.

I used Mother Clay Bar Kit.

My yellow S has black pinhead-size spots on it that I can feel. They are on the horizontal surfaces only. I suspect they are overspray from a machine that was spraying a black, watery sealant onto new asphalt as I drove by. Is the clay bar the way to remove these? I haven't yet waxed over them. Thanks for any advice.

Charly,
I think it will do the trick. It not too expensive, 8 to 9 bucks. I followed the instructions carefully and I was very happy with the results, Try a small area, and see what you think.
