Default Paint for the s2000.

I am taking my car in to have it repainted; along with the side skirts and hardtop. But that won't be painted til later. They told me to just paint the car alone is $3000. Is that good? Or should i look at it as, "you get what you pay for"?

i think its a little high, but hey if $3000 turns out better than a $2000 paint job. then i would be happy.

For those that had their S painted, how much did you pay?

Close to $10k to paint mine. Independent shop, with GM Daytona Orange Metallic (C6 Vette).

Well, to be fair, that included some bodywork to blend the rear lip spoiler (not OEM, but a custom aluminum Gurney) to the trunklid for a nice clean look. Down to the bare metal and baked, wet sanded, etc.

I was contemplating on repainting mine but can't seem to find a color that I really want.

Hey alex show us that 10k paint job must be worth it eh?

Alex - don't you get tired of doing this shit?

It is one thing to tell a few lies, but jesus christ..... damn near every post is bullshit....

People are actually looking for real answers vs your crap. How's the L88 running in that S2000?

I thought you were going to put it on a bronco frame and take it to the mud bogs???

attention new users - disregard 99% of Alex's posts..... his mom drives a turbo charged nissan van, his dad has every german made great car there is, his S2000 has a Chevy big block in it, etc... etc... etc.....

He's like that guy on Saturday night live who always lies...... "my name is tommy flanagan...... and farrah farcet...no...no... morgan fairchild is my wife... ya ya... that's the ticket.... morgan fairchild...."

around 15k to paint mine with an added custom flame design. If your getting a paint job for 3k then you better see how it turns out on other cars first.
