I paid $3k to repair a fender, install a body kit and paint on my MR2 turbo.

It was *ok*.

If it's just a respray, I think you should be ok.

If your paying 3000 US for a paint job it better be a good one. Over here in Canada i know a bodyshop that will do pearl white with blue pearls & it's a really good job for 3000 canadian that's including moulding a veilside bodykit & paint with all the painting stuff doen to wet sand, curing it etc.

If your willing to drive to canada to get it done you'll save yourself around 600 not sure if all shop charges like what my body shop does, but I'm sure it'll be cheaper here.

around 15k to paint mine with an added custom flame design. If your getting a paint job for 3k then you better see how it turns out on other cars first

15K that better be a very very very good paintjob! with airbrushing stuff too!
that's frigging 20g canadian !!!

I had my '89 Supra Turbo painted for about $3500. They had to replace the left front fender and some body side moulding as a result of a fender-bender I'd been in a couple of years earlier.

Alex - don't you get tired of doing this shit?

It is one thing to tell a few lies, but jesus christ..... damn near every post is bullshit....

People are actually looking for real answers vs your crap. How's the L88 running in that S2000?

I thought you were going to put it on a bronco frame and take it to the mud bogs???
The L88 is a iron block 427.

It must be hard to sleep at night for you, Scotty.

The LS6 is running extremely well. Thanks for asking. Just because you like to throw $20 bills at your S2000 in a futile attempt to make it keep up with a stock Z06, it doesn't mean you have to get so butt hurt over every other S2000 that's faster than yours.

I wouldnt worry about a $3000 paint job. Make sure its color(wett) sanded and buffed, with 2 or more coats of base and 2 coats of clear. Also, make sure they remove the panals to get it in the creases of where they come together(ex the door skin and front fender, stuff like that) or else the paint will chip. It's the $299 all over's from macco that I'd be concerned with.......LOL. I've got a buddy who owns his own painting business. He doesnt do all overs anymore because to him they are more trouble than they are worth to get them done RIGHT, but when he did do them, he charged around $3000-4000 I believe. And he does good quality work, he is the go-to guy for most of the large dealerships around atlanta, from used car lots to lexus and infinity dealerships

Alex, you paid 10k for a paint job that comes stock on a car????

That seems to be a lil bit much for a stock paint job, must be a lie.
