Makes the headlights look Cheap painted ImO....
On the C6 it looks good actually but if you must do it, at least do it in glossy finish.
I would try gloss black if I had to paint my headlight trim some color. an AP2 light would look better too since the shape of the AP1 is not good for painting.
Strictly my 2 cents though...
