Default Painted my tail Silverstone!

Ever since someone posted photos of the black rear bumper trim around the exhaust painted Silverstone to match the rest of the car, I thought this would be very desirable to do. With my car in for repair of the dent I wacked into the right front fender while shoveling snow during the blizzard of '03, I decided to bite the bullet and have it done.

I think it gives the tail end a much more finished appearance, but that's my opinion. Here are a few photos:

looks good. Wouldn't it melt since your exhaust tips are almost touching the rear valence area?

It's funny how the tips look closer with the piece painted, but no melting problems (I've had it this close for over a year).

In theory, this piece can be removed and swapped with one that has already been painted, I would think, assuming that the colors are reasonably consistent.

There may be a business for somebody here if it could be done for a reasonable price.
