I like stock better than painted. The painted part distorts the shape of rear IMO.

 

I'm having this done soon. I think it looks great. It's the ONLY black piece on the car and when painted, makes the rear look lowe.

QUESTION TO RICK AND OTHERS WHO HAD THIS DONE:

Did your body shop do anything special to prep this piece before painting? My body shop said they aren't sure if the paint will stick and peel off after a while?

They told me NOT to armor all that piece ever again since it can make fish eyes when they paint it, if it soaks in.

Can any of you find out what your body shop do to prep this piece before paint???
