Painted window frame in NFR...

Thumbs up Painted window frame in NFR...

Hey guys, I have a MY00 in NFR and im about to get i painted... texas sun man, sucks...

but anyway! my window frame thing is black... and the ar is red (if you know what i mean)... ive seen some rio's with color matched window frames but i dont know if theres anyone doing that to their nfr's? or do some models come like that from the factory?

can anyone post sum pics of nfrs with color matched window frames...

The black is just tape. there are some threads about removing it. the frame will be red underneath.

it's definitely tape. It is there to match the top. You remove the tape if you put a hardtop on.

Some people like the look of the S better w/o the tape, it is a personal choice, really nothing to do with a hardtop.

And be prepared to clean the leftover glue,and buff the paint;it's a bitch.

Also be prepared to have to paint that area if you get a surprise under the tape - I did and had to have it painted. Worth it, but be ready for it.
