painting calipers

Default painting calipers

i want to paint my calipers red. is there anything special that i need or any specific brand that anyones used?

i painted mine with G2 caliper paint. it was like $35, and i put about 4 coats on each caliper. also, i dremeled the calipers to get a smoother surface. that took the most time (4 hours or so).

it would also help if your car jacked completely off the ground so you can work your way around all 4 corners, and then repeat for more coats.

also, you should think about getting some S2000 decals, they look sweet on the red calipers.

Several years ago they were sold through Decalgal.com. No longer. Search ebay, you can still find them in Europe

www.vinzdecals.com, go to caliper decals, use the middle font on the right column.

FYI - that's where i bought mine.

the decals used by this guy are the same that i have. he was the person who gave me the website that i had posted.

People spray paint too. You still have to clean and polish the calipers to get a good look, but spray paint seems to hold up just as well as brush paint, and is easier to apply.
