painting calipers

yeah i just meant his paint on the actual caliper looked really smooth and high quality. some of them still have the rough metal finish like before, just with a layer of color over it.

yeah i used a dremel with a grinding stone to make my calipers as smooth as possible. it took a LONG time, but i figured if i'm going to do it, i might as well put some effort into it. the results are well worth the effort

Regarding the S2000 Caliper Decals.
I've heard that if you track your car the decals will just melt off. Any truth to this ?

^^you could make a stencil and paint them on over the base paint

i have heard that too, but i don't track my car, and so far it seems to stay on pretty nicely. i do drive spiritedly sometimes

If you track your car the brakes will get hot enough to burn the paint, and the decals with it.

Yeah,

Here are mine... Decals made by me and paint used was Duplicolor caliper paint (Rattle Can). Job finished with a high temperature clear coat by Duplicolor as well.

awesome thanks for the insight. im gonna have to wait on the decals but i think im gonna be painting them on sat. hopefully ill be bleeding the brakes and putting some new fluid in and getting my invidia. prob gonna do the rear diff fluid as well with a little bit o LE607
