I just painted my calipers a couple days ago. I went with the G2 kit. You can purchase the kit from optionsauto.com. It cost about $50 an it took about 3 hrs. I can post pictures or walk you through the process if you PM me.
thanks

You don't need those expensive kit, I think they're a big rip off. I've painted 2 of my car with engine header paint (heat resistance up to 260C) and it lasts about 4-5 years before requiring another repaint. The brand is "Plasti-Kote" bottle label "Engine Enamel" cost about $7-8 a spray bottle.

For best result apply 2-3 thin layers. Here is how I did mine:
1. wrap everything except your caliper with newspaper, wrap small gaps between the caliper as well.
2. spray one layer, let it settle (should take about 15-20minutes)
3. spray another layer, repeat 2 for up to 3 layers
4. do the same on each wheel
5. let the paint settle for 24hrs before driving out

*make sure to only spray the caliper and nothing else, use masking tape to cover the small gap.

result:

What color do you guys think I should make my calipers, red or black? I'm leaning towards black because I'm worried about the red not matching the rest of the car correctly, plus black will hide dirt better.

I went with the G2 kit as well. Couldn't have been easier.
