Anybody know of software for the palm that could be used to:

Track MPG between fill-ups
Track maintainence (oil change milage, date, location, etc.)
Log vehicle info (Tag#, SN, etc.)
Lookup S2000 specifications
Track Warranty repair info

If anyone uses a good program, or wants to write one for the Palm, let me know it would be very useful for everyone.

(A while back I found someone that input all the Car & Driver performance numbers from the back of the magazine into a Palm database. This was really cool. You could sort by 0-60, 1/4 mile, skidpad, braking, and price.) Of course the S2000 was always near the top of the list.

I did the same thing for my COMMODORE VIC20 when I was 13 y/o. It was the 1st computer program I wrote. Sadly, I lost some interest in programming after that, boy how I regret it !

I have been using Kar Kare by Lee Golden almost regligiously for the past 2yrs. It's capable of keeping track of up to four cars and is very intuitive.

Although it does store car info, you do have the ability to enter maintenance schedules.

You can try out a demo here: http://palmgear.com/software/showsoftware....33620&prodID=40

It's $15 to register and worth every penny, IMHO.

Commodore, eh? I did a complete check writing program on my Atari 48K machine. Seems like fifty years ago; how old are you, Frank? I'm 53.
