Wow. That really, really, really, really, REALLY pisses me off.
I walked out to my Civic parked behind my house on the street one day with a buddy of mine, and there's a middle-aged guy in a shirt and tie leaning against the car, chest against the windows, one arm draped along the roof, yapping on his cell phone. I have my keyless entry set to beep whenever I unlock/lock the car, so it honked twice as I walk up and my friend walks around him to get in the passenger side, and he just glares at me like I interrupted his phone conversation. In hindsight, I wish I had thought to set off my panic alarm. I was just so shocked anyone would do that, not to mention the fact that my car wasn't particularly clean. Idiots

They walk in and the guy didn't even say anything so I went outside to check it out and low and be hold if I didn't have a door ding. Come inside, tell the guy his kid ding my door getting and he totally denied it. Long story short, big agrument insued and in the end he admitted to the fact that ding was caused by his son, and even had him apologize for it and paided for the repairs. I don't know what these people are thinking now a days, they just don't respect for others property.
I think what bothers me the most about this story is the example the father is setting for his child. It goes something like this:

"It's ok to damage a stranger's property, as long as you get away with it. If you get caught, try to weasle out of it any way you can."

That's what I'm talking about. Live in fear boys and girls, because not only are these people reproducing but they are teaching their offspring how damage your car. So get a garage and keep your car indoors because you don't know what lurks at around the next parking lot.

It is amazing what other people do.

I used to live in an apartment complex where the buildings were shaped in a U and the parking was in the middle. I was coming home from work and when I pulled in I noticed a few kids(9-12 years old) sitting around drinking Gatorade. I parked and was walking towards my apartment when I heard a BANG. I looked and saw a baseball rolling down the parking lot and a kid chasing it.

The kid picked it up and threw it back to the other kid. He missed the ball and it hit another car. Now this was not a nerf but a real baseball.

I went over to them and asked if it was a good idea to throw that ball in the parking lot. I said I had seen them hit two cars and that they dented both of them. They said that their mother told them to go play in the parking lot(WTF). I asked if I could speak to their mother. They pointed up to a balcony and there was the mother sitting on her ass talking on the cell phone. I yelled up "Excuse me, can I have a word with you". She said "Yeah, what do you want". I told her what her kids were doing and she replied " Well, where do you want them to play. They are not hurting anyone."

I told her again that they dented two cars and she said that those cars shouldn't be parked where kids are playing. At this point I went inside and called the cops and told them what happened.

They arrived and luckily caught the kids throwing the ball. They were there for the better part of an hour and left. Not two weeks later the kids had a Frisbee and were doing the same thing.

WTF is wrong with people. These kids are going to grow up with no common sense or any respect for other people. They won't be able to hold down a job or live in society. And people wonder why we have so many prisons.

If it makes you feel any better I usually resort to violence to claim vengence against those who disrespect my car and therefore me. I have just had it with these people. If they don't care, then guess what I don't care. I am happy to deliver a good beating once in a while. BTW I am usually a nice guy, until you *&^% with my car.

I wish I could do that. On the same corner as my shop, there is a bustop. Of course, while the kids wait for the bus, they either lean up against my car or touch every corner possible. Countless times I have walked out and asked the parents of these children to please keep them from touching the car. Countless times they just nod their head and look the other way.

My only resort was to move my car to the other side of the parking lot under a sign. Now I battle the birds and i swear, they have it out for me too

I think the world is against anyone who has something nice and wants to keep it that way.
