Parents - please watch your children!
while I see your sides and they are all extremly valid points, I choose to have an optimistcally biased realistic perspective.......when kid goes up to my car and starts touching it......I first asses the situation. More often than not in these situations, when they happen to me, I realize that it is completely harmless and I think to myself......"it's paint that clearcoated and waxed.....it will come off." I usually keep detailing spray in the trunk for this reason. meanwhile.....I get to see a childs eyes grow wide as he sits in the driver's seat holding onto the steering wheel and playing with the shifter.
this may seem to have a nonchalant air to it but......that's how i feel.
