Default Park in the Garage..Top Up or Down?

I'm curious as to what is better for the soft top. I have been parking recently with the top down, thinking that will minimize wear on the top, but am I damaging the top by leaving it down for days at a time?

If I know I'm not going to be driving the car for a few days then I'll put up the top, otherwise it stays down.

In summer, the top stays down. In winter the top stays up.

I have kept my top down often in the garage, knowing I only take it out when nice, and I'm gonna put the top down anyway. I have the beginning of the common spot tear, so I do this to prolong the life of top, but it's protected with foam pipe insulation now so it seems good to go.

As for wrinkles, that doesn't bother me, because I had my hard top on for over a month, and the wrinkles disappear in a short amount of time once up for a while and in the sun, so that's not a concern.

I would be more concerned with mice/rats getting inside your car and chewing your seats! Mice love garages...perfect place for them to "raise a family"

Exactly the same for me. My only (irrational) fear would be spiders chillin' in my seat. God forbid one of those jumps out at me while I'm driving...
