Default Parking Problem

Tonight we have dinner with some friends who live in a funky-@ss apartment complex -- the S2000 will be totally on view to passers-by.
I've only had the car 2 months and am pretty careful about where I take it. I'm tempted to take our anonymous Daily Driver tonight, but I flat-out love driving the S.
So would you take the risk? I'm not saying anything bad would happen to it, but I'm sorta paranoid.

check out the parking situation in advance... if it looks clear (are there other nice cars there? are there spots to park other than "compact", etc.), take your real car- you can always cover it! if not, take your other car-

Sounds reasonable -- thanks for the advice.

I guess I'm a skeptic/paranoid by heart.

When in doubt, don't do it!

But then again, we all bought our cars to be driven and enjoyed, not sitting in a garage all day.

I personally would not do it based on my experience. I have always had bad luck in situations you are describing. But that's just my experience.
