Just picked up my s2k yesterday and found out that the passenger seat won't slide foward. It seems like it's pushed back as far as it can go.

Anybody else have this problem? Any ideas on how to get it "unstuck?"

Brute force did it for me.

(I've since greased it so that it doesn't happen again)

 

Is the seat back fully upright? Or is it also jammed against the back wall? You might try sitting in it and while holding up the seat lever (in front of you), give the whole seat a good sudden push backwards and this might free up the latch. On the other hand, the connection between the lever and the release mechanism may be severed.
