I had the top down and the passenger window 1/2 way down. I tried to raise the window but no good. Lowered the window all the way OK but still won't go up. It was a cold ride home tonight. I recall seeing a post of the same problem but no luck finding it. Any trick to get it up?

heh...this one always makes me chuckle.

It looks like the window lock was accidentally hit and you didn't realize it.

Go check that and report back immediately...

heh heh...not to worry wblanch, you're not the first person to do that. I mean, I've HEARD about other people having that problem...never done it myself...umm, yeah that's the ticket (don't say a thing CG ). The thing that gets me is this: [rant]why the hell does the window lock-out prevent the DRIVER from opening/closing the window?? Isn't the point of those things to keep the *passenger* from fiddling with buttons? Why in the world would the driver want to prevent him/herself from opening the dang window? [/rant]

i know of at least one member here (who will go un-named of course) who i believe took the car to a dealer to have the "broken window motor" repaired.

Wasn't me! But I did get to that point. Though I did take off the window switches and had the door panels off. I felt so stupid!

It happened to me because I was detailing the interior. I to have the RANT on why the switch locks out the drivers switch for that window as well.

Yeah got me too. I even scheduled a service call to the dealer until my wife used the car one day and it magically fixed itself. Doh!
