Default Peeling headlights

Well I noticed today on my headlights, that they are peeling. Appears its a UV coat which is peeing. The car is an 03 with 34000 miles, so I am still under warranty. Now question does honda factory warranty cover this?

How much do two new 03 headlight cases cost? I would much rather do it myself.

I had a bad experience last time with the dealer so I would really like to avoid them. I could also go with 04 headlights and do the conversion, but that might be a little too expensive (headlights and ballasts).

Honda will not honor your warranty by mailing you a new set of lights for you to install. Warrant work HAS to be done at the dealer.

Did you buy the car new or used? It sounds like someone has installed a film to protect the headlights. It should peel off if so.

I know honda wont send me lights, I just want to know if the peeling headlights is covered under warranty?

I have not put anything on the headlights, its just peeling from the top edge, looks like its a uv protective coating?

I have owned this car since day one, brand new with 7 miles on it. No one has put any film on the car.
