One forseen question is:
Can I get a Rick Hesel "S" on the "stiffie" bar? If so, will it be laser etched, painted, or to keep costs down, can I get a vinyl sticker so I can adhere it where I want.
Mark --->
Rick, new produt idea.....vinyl "S" stickers, Rick Hesel Windscreen with the "S" etched (rather than the S2000 logo), "S" visor stickers, "S" embossed center console covers and head rests....you can then spin this into a new "cult" web site: S.com

Other than looks, does this brace have any advantage over the Spoon? Just wondering since it costs about twice as much and being hidden under the car, I don't care what it looks like. Thanks.

As stated in an earlier post I built this brace to be the best of the best, with no welds, and no seams, as well as no gussets. I also wanted an extra bar to run laterally to across the car. I wante all of this, but with no more weight than the 5 pounds that the Spoon weighs. I did achieve this, mainly for myself, but now that it exists I thought that I would offer it to the S2K owning public. The looks came as a bonus. If you think that this price is high immagine having to pay the $2200 it cost to make the first one. The prices that Rick mentioned are including shipping. We will be finding out shortly if there are any performance benefits added.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard great things about the Spoon brace, so I would also expect this one to tighten up the front end as well. It's beautiful and please don't think I was bitching about the price, I was just curious if there were any other benefits that may help convince people to purchase this one over the Spoon.
I think it's great that so many people on this board are being so entreprenurial and developing all of these great products. Keep up the good work, now I just need to hurry up and get my S2000 so I can start modifying it will all this great stuff!
