people with hardtops!

Default people with hardtops!

i'm looking to buy a hard top for my ap1 my question is when you get you hardtop installed at the dealers, do they take the soft top off completely including the convt. motor? thanks in advance!

The softtop just folds down into the normal top down position when the HT is on.

so there's no way to take the soft top off? or is there? because if i want hardtop, i dnt think ill use convt, so im thinking a bout just keeping it on there for goood while.

just leave the softtop alone.... the one day you go topless and....one cold night or sudden down poor of rain

get the hardtop window tinted.... you will not see the softtop

i just want my car to be little bit lighter i know it probably won't make alot of difference but i still want to take'm off...is there a way? oh byw i don't have the window back i have the vinyl.

Yes, people have taken their softtop off when they put on the hardtop. I think I've heard of people taking out the motor for the top as well. But yes, you can.

You can install the hardtop yourself. No need to spend hundreds of dollars at the dealer.

Just leave your soft top in, yes you can take it out including the motor and this is all a DIY project.

I am like you I dont like the convertable aspect of this car, thats not why I bought it and have had an OEM and Mugen hardtop for the past 5 years and I have left the soft top in.

I've a hardtop, but i still like top down. Don't take out your soft top, you will need it.
