I'm with you. I get it all the time. Not as bad as when I first bought my car in '02, but it is still pretty bad.
I especially hate it when I am behind someone and they move over, get behind me, speed up to catch me and turn their brights on.
It makes me want to go all Spy Hunter on them and drop an oil slick.

When I first bought my AP2, it seemed like I was getting highbeamed @ least once a drive. Now, almost 3 years later, I may get beamed once a month.
One late night coming home, I got beamed by an eclipse. When I drove past him, I watched as he made a U-turn in the middle of the road and started to follow me. As he was following me, he continued to highbeam me repeatedly. I became angry and pulled over to the shoulder, anticipating some kind of confrontation. The eclipse pulled up beside me and this conversation took place.
Punk kid: Hey, do you have some kind of problem! Why are you highbeaming me!
Me: Look dude, my car just happens to have bright lights, but if you want me to
have a problem, I can find one with the way your acting.
Him: Oh no bro, I was just wondering why you were high beaming me.
I think HID's are becoming more commonplace on the road, forcing those without them to just accept em.

sometimes when I'm coming down to the hill, people flash at me.
I think it's really the road conditions that determines how much of the headlight projection is on the oncoming traffic/drivers face.
some people just get confused and act hastely, I think.
