Perception of our S
I agree with you, Crabby Guy, which is why I'm proud to own an S. People that know about the S know it's one of the best kept sports car secrets out there. It really is a car for enthusiasts. Maybe Honda doesn't sound as exotic as Porche, for example, but for my money I'd rather have an S any day.
BTW, a friend told me that Porche had to come out with the "Boxter S" to compete with the S2000 because the original boxter couldn't--even so, the S still holds its own, and at a much lower price!

I understand the logic that you and i and most normal people share, with the parking across two spaces in the back and having plenty of room for everyone else, but the kind of people who key cars don't care. Parking sideways is like a magnet for these people. It will get keyed. the only defence is a 12-gauge...

I park on the wider spots if they have them.
And try to park on the places where they have the curb on one side.
Park close against that hopefully people who park next to you won't ding u.
Other option is park far away, but i tend to get people who want to park
next to me anyway.

What is interesting is that a few people in the building have gotten new cars, and they tend to park near me and away for the main section in the lot.
