If your post was installed the way mine was, you should have a cut in the carpet near the post. Pull the cut carpet back and there is a phillips screw in there. It's all you need to remove it.

Yes. They're contoured over that oddly shaped hump.

Rick,
Will the contours fit tight over the cross members like the three piece mats, or will it
fit loose? I have not seen a one piece mat that covered the cross members in the floor.

The passenger side fits the countour of the hump very well. The driver's side is a bit easier, since the cross member is bascially rectangular. The fit and appearance is much better than the three piece (which I also have).

I know Rick personally and I have used a number of his products and they are TOP SHELF. He is meticulous and extremely detail oriented. You will NOT go wrong with these mats and as soon as development is complete I plan to order the Wilton wool with leather trim and maybe a logo. The other bonus is that Rick stands behind his products and he is "ONE OF US".

Rick, can you please make them available with at least one post hole? Most of us have the damn things and I personally like the post, I think it helps, even with the rubber nub backing.

You mean the nubbies broke off some other carpets designed for another car?

Rick-

Looks good Amigo. Thanks for bringing another great product to market. I had the Muz mats in my '01 and while they were a hell of a lot better than the stock mats, I could not get the passenger mat to lay down and stay put. No offense, Muz.

I've sold my '01 and just took delivery of my '02. I need to double check, but unlike the previous year's cars, the '02 cars don't have the holes in the carpet for the posts. In fact, if memory serves me right, removing the posts would be next to impossible without cutting the carpet, etc.

If at all possible, I would really like to see holes for the posts (and heel mats) as options.

Looking forward to the finished product,

My 02 has two posts but the standard mats they gave me only has one hole.
