The pic doesn't show it too well, but the bar is fully chromed. It definitely makes the front end feel more taught, and gives a more solid ride. I'll have to wait and see if it feels any different after the Spoon X-brace is installed.

I never thought they would make it! I will be ordering that. Soon after the Spoon X bar! Dam looks good. No question of adjusting it properly etc!!!! That is the way it should be!

It looks like it sits a little lower than the RM Racing and Comptech designs. Is that the case or is it just the angle of the photo? If so, I imagine that there isn't any interference with the hood.

I have the Comptech bar and since I installed the new brackets I no longer have interference with the hood. My question to everyone is this: looking at the two designs there is a noticeable difference; this one is forked at the bottom without the "legs" connected to each other, whereas mine has a base piece that connects the support "legs" together as well as to the car. Which is better?

I know there are going to be people that disagree, but it makes no difference. Any of the bars on the market properly torqued down are effectively equal. This is a subtle reinforcement noticeable only under a few conditions. If it were critical Honda would have supplied one.

I don't know how much it clears the bottom of the hood by, but the top of the bar is exactly 2" above the top of the air box. It seems like plenty of clearance to me. (I could put a piece of styrofoam on top the bar and close to the hood, to see how much it gets compressed if you really want to know the clearance.)

Or you could take out the air box hop into the engine bay and take a tape measure to check the clearance.

I too that box out and was like there's a lot of room now!

1Y2KS2K, cool pic...I'm too waiting to get my Neuspeed STB and Spoon front X brace. Was it pretty easy to install the STB? Did you have to use the torque-wrench? Thanx.
