If you try it out first by lowering the bar over the existing strut nuts (2 at each end), it will appear as though the STB is about 3/8" too long; you won't be able to get one end to drop over the threads (even though the STB has elongated slots). To install it, you have to take all four screws out first, which will release the strut tower (making it "relax"), then you should be able to drop the STB over the two threads on each tower. (You just might have to "spring" the bar down on one end. It's a pretty tight fit.) You can get the right kind of torque by tightening the nuts down with a ratchet or wrench, then when it's tight, an extra "kick" should do it. (No need to use superhuman strength!)
