Great looking s2000, I love white!

 

I've sold 2 AP1's before.

00 Black AP1 with 93k miles. 3rd owner. Sold it for $11,500.

02 Silverstone AP1 with 141k miles. 3rd owner. $12,500.

This white car is the cleanest among them. I live in Los Angeles where the right buyer will pay. Im in no rush to sell, i will hang onto it when the right offer comes along. After i fix it up i'll list it for $14.500 and see how it goes.

 

I may consider keeping it however as its keeping miles off my 2008 AP2 and it's still a lot of fun to drive. I prefer the AP2 to the AP1 but for a fun/daily/track car this is a good solution. We'll see how it goes after i get her fixed up.

This is true...I've been chatting with the owner of and have been following an adult/nurse owned, mint, oem stock Ap1 with only 70k miles for a month and trying to get my finances together (I missed out and wasn't ready yet). It was the red one in Oxnard Shores. They couldn't hold out any longer and it sold last Friday for his/her asking price of $13k. I wonder if it's someone here that bought it?

I also wanted another Ap1 that was closer by a few weeks before that, also adult owned, 60k miles, oem stock and mint, sold for the same $13k.

There are a few other really nice Ap1's (95k and 60k) and a Ap2 (135k) right now I am eyeing on CL that are around $13-15k..but I might just buy this one (if he decides to sell it) because he sounds like he's experienced with s2ks, is doing the right things (ballade inspection, maintenance, good parts), it looks very clean and is also GPW

 

03 didnt have problems with retainers i thought?

 

03 had the same retainers as a MY 2000. They changed retainers in 2004
