Default Picked up my 2nd S2000 today!

37k miles. Drives straight and true. Brakes nice.
There is a funky smell from the vent if I set it to fresh air, but overall I'm very happy with the car. I've "downgraded" from a MY 2003, but thats ok. I get front lip and a rear spoiler with this hehe.

Time to change out the fluids..

Whats the best way to get rid of the funky smell?
Lysol and heater on full vent?
changing the cabin filter??

What year is it? It looks nice. I just saw an 2002 silverstone at 12k for $18k in my local area. BTW, nice car. I like the red interior.

Check with honda, I know when I worked as a tech at mitsu, they had an enzyme spray we would inject into the air intake for the AC. There was a procedure for running the AC with the enzyme sprayed in and it would kill all bacteria and mildew in the vents and blower box, of course that procedure escapes me right now.

Not sure if honda has a simmilar system but it makes sense that they would.... Finish that and replace the AC filter and hopefully that should resolve your problems...

Good luck with the new ride and let me know about that honda ac treatment I'd be interested to know if they do infact have a system setup.
