good question. Then again, idling the engine for 500 hours isn't the best way to do it, the drivetrain needs to see different engine and road speeds to break in nicely.
And you won't get to break in the rest of the car, i.e. brakes.

No, you want to vary RPMs. You also do not get on highway, set cruise control for 500 miles. Again, vary the RPMs
