Thanks for the great resource! It's 5am and I can't sleep!!!! Could it be because I'm picking up the car today?

Well, don't have the car yet...the financing is due TODAY. Talk about anticipation!

You're going to enjoy your new ride, maybe sometime when I'm in your neck of the woods we can hook up.

Well, I've had it for a week, and the thrill has not worn off yet! Put 1250 miles on it (including 2 of my kids and my wife). My son figured out why the top did not go up or down sometimes...the E-brake has to engaged.

Got a speeding ticket 3 days ago. 75 in a 50. Knew that was coming. After giving me my ticket, the state cop said "nice car, though." Is that worth 5mph off the ticket? Guess not.

Glad you are enjoying your car John. 1250 miles in a week is pretty damn good we have had the weather for it!

John,

Congrats on the car! Man, you and you family must be REALLY enjoying it because you have more miles (and tickets) than my wife and I have done since we got ours in July! Enjoy.

John, welcome!

There are many of us who do not drive their S2000s in the winter; therefore the forum can be the source of a lot of moral support, as well as teasing from California during the snowy months.

I know what it is like to do a lot of driving, your 1,250 miles is great. I knew I could not wait for the break in miles if it took me a week or so. In my case I got the car on a Tuesday night, took Wednesday off from work. On Thursday morning when I parked the car at work it had 850 miles on it. I think I did about 1,300 miles that first week!

Sorry about the ticket though...
