I'M A NEW MEMBER TO THIS FORUM. JUST GOT MY S2K 2 WKS AGO, ALREADY PUT 700 MILES ON THE CAR. JUST WANNA ASK WHAT IS THE BREAK IN PERIOD FOR THE CAR?

600 miles, it's in the manual

First off, welcome to the community and congrat's on your purchase.

The break in period is 600 miles and it looks like unfortunately, you blazed right past that. Hopefully, you weren't too hard on your new baby while she was new.

Do yourself a favor and spend a couple hours reading your owners manual and the FAQ section of this board. It's kind of boring, I know, but there really is a whole lot of great 411 in there.
