you will heatsoak like a fat man in the sahara

 

 

the design of the box is it creates a sort of vacumm for the intake to suck in the fresh air from the outside.

if you start putting holes in it, it wont be as efficient as how it was designed.

it doesn't happen like how you have it in your head, where you'll get more air from the inside the engine and still suck in outside air. you lose the outside air all together with the hole in the box.

it's like trying to drink out of a straw that has a leak in it.

 

I leave the airbox off though ... i love how the intake sounds without the cover
