I will be removing my JDM front numberplate and holder soon as I want to put a 3/4 size horizontal plate on the front because it is much smaller and will look cleaner. It will fit more closely with the lines of the car. I am tempted to put the new numberplate on the lower part of the bumper though underneath the radiator "vent" but this would either mean filling the bumper or using the plugs which in my eyes leave 2 little "warts" on an otherwise clean car but this would give the car a more "numberplateless" look like I see some of you guys in the US are doing (and im jealous).
I have heard that the JDM holes are in a different place to other S2000 models, does anyone have a number of pictures showing a JDM bumper with the numberplate holder removed but with the holes still showing? I don't want to order the wrong parts or find I dont like them after going through alot of stress removing the bumper etc for no reason. Maybe in a "how to remove the numberplate holder faq" with pictures or something? I have searched on this forum but can't find anything immediate.
It's not JDM but here's what I did when I lived in a state that required me to have a front plate. Also, It would help if you filled in your profile so people know what model year your car is.
