Pirelli P7000's? anyone with experiences
Since i am selling my 17's and my stock tires are all but destroyed (especially after tomorrow at the track).....
these have a wear rating of 160 (sticky), and are fairly cheap (i am probably going to sell the car soon anyway)..... anyone have / had the Pirelli P7000's on their S2000?
About $108 each....

My first set of aftermarkets were P7000's 225/18 front and 255/18 rear. They were good rain tires, quiet and have an intermediate grip.
On a 1 - 10 for performance I'd give them a 7. On a 1 - 10 for ultra-high performance I'd give them a 5. I sold them after 1300 miles so I can't comment on wear.

The 7000 appears to have been replaced by the new P7. Sport Compact Car has some reviews this month. Neither tire is especially well suited for an S2000 unless your just doing daily driving/highway miles.

i was thinking since the wear rating is only 160, they have to be semi sticky...don't they???
I just don't want to blow $800 on tires then sell the damned car to someone who doesn't give a crap about them.
I want sticky just in case i keep it, but not big$$$
how about the yoko A520's???

I loved my A-520's. I replaced them last week after 12,000 miles of excellent service. I thought they were getting noisy so I went back to S-02's (also to support our club's group buy). Turns out they were fairly quiet after all. The noise was my differential
