Plan on towing my S2000 with the Pilot during vacation! Thoughts?

for me a dolly is out of the question on long trip since it may bang around the back end of your car

Don't make vague assumptions if you haven't done it...the Pilot towed the S2000 fine and never have me an ounce of trouble. Our Pilot towed the S2000 like a champ.
That's what I get for surfing on an Internet phone. I totally missed the date of the thread. But if you read my post, I said: "I expect."
That was my hypothesis and what I expected the result to be. What's wrong with that? I never said, "This is WHAT is going to happen."
I've never run across traffic with my eyes closed, but I'll make the hypothesis that it's a bad idea.

What was your mpg during the trip, out of curiosity?

I've heard all sorts of hell for the Pilot towing the S2000...and that was back in 2002/2003.
But honestly, that Pilot towed like a champ. Never had any issues at all. And I'd cruise a tad over the speed limit...it towed the S as if it wasn't there. No issues. And having it on a tow dolly allowed me to drive in tight areas like North Bergen, NJ and Miami, FL...not to mention 28 on our way to Alcoa.

Add to that hills and valleys...the Pilot was great. Could a torque lovin' V8 do better? No question...but still, it wasn't as if the Pilot struggled.
