Default Plastic Rear Window

My top's rear window was caught on something when going down and got a tear in it. Is there a way to replace just the rear plastic window as opposed to replacing the whole top? I'm really broke and would like to avoid replacing the whole top if at all possible.

Thanks!

Just curious what the hell could it possibly gotten stuck on?

You might as well save to get a new 02+ softtop with the glass rear window, theyre not as expensive as you might think. Just tape it up for now, itll look ghetto but it wont be worth it to just replace the plastic window.

The amount you would spend fixing the plastic is already half the price for the new robbins top. Just tape it up and save money for a top with a glass rear window.

I purposely purchased a 2001 model because I wanted the plastic rear window. The reason being that the plastic window is larger than the glass rear window. Given that the blind spot on these cars is already huge, I figured making it bigger (the blind spot, that is) didn't make sense. I know the glass windows are nice, but if you have a good, clear, plastic window, they're not too bad.

Any thoughts from those of you that have upgraded from the plastic window to the glass top? Did you notice a significant decrease in window size with the glass window? Or is it really negligible?
