Do you really want to use some Rube-Goldberg solution when you can do it right for $20?

Seems kind of silly...

No thank you...I would try this link

https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_rearwindowwell.php

works very nicely.

You are really just too mature. It's just a matter of opinion. I would not spend 20 dollars on something which has no tail to keep the window from rubbing on itself and only costs 5 to make. But whatever, only your opinion counts, just roll your eyes. I'm sick and tired of these types of attitudes on the board. You really make it miserable for those who are trying to share information and alternatives.

BTW, I've had quite a few people ask me where I bought my "Rube-Goldberg solution" which looks similiar to your tube but is sewn with the stiches IN, with quality material, and a tail to protect against rubbing.

Clovis:

Sorry, I guess I just value my time a little more than you value yours.

For a savings of $15 it hardly seems worth while - at least to me.

I apologize for making your life so miserable!

Hey, no problem man, no hard feelings. Just let it be known that not only do I value my time but I value the appearance and quality of my toys

That'll be all for me.

That window protector tube looks like it certainly helps to keep creases out but what about abrasive scratching during top lowering and raising from the mechanical frame?
