Do you guys have perfect edges? I finally did it even with a traced template but some of the edges are still off, they aren't super noticeable but up close there are a few gaps along the edges. Aside from that it looks great.

Instead of making the template only exactly where the viewable area of the window is. Make it about 1 cm bigger on both sides. If you lift the convertible top trim that covers the rear window, u'll notice u have some space, that is either top and bottom or left and right (i can't remember, been like two years). It'll make a tint job that it virtually invisible.

BTW I've had this since I first got the car. I did the side window tint first myself and then did the rear right afterwards.

@8BALL: just wanted to thankyou, was gettign frustrated with my rear plastic window it makes the car look terrible and i regretted not getting one with glass. I went to walmart and purchased 20% black magic tint , made a trace on aluminum foil on my back window, then simply cut out the trace on carboard then once again onto the tint. applied soapy water to the back window and layed on my tint.
attempts:3

materials: black magic window tint
soapy water in spray bottle
credit card
and candix xtra duty spray cleaner. (not sold in stores) seriously worth owning a can.

time: 15-20 minutes

suggesttions: thoroughly clean plastic window. if theres ANYY dirt/dust/ it will not stick.[ treat static cling tint as any other tint, do not put top down for at least 2 days.
and since your using soapy water, dont drive the car directly after applying tint. shouuld be applied when the car
can sit and dry for a few hours. (that was my mistake i applied it, rubbed out the water, and got on the highway.
tint came off at 85 mph lol) but now its on and looks better then ever. thanks again dude
