I recieved mine in the mail last week but I've been too busy with college to install it. Yeah, I'm lazy. But for what it is made of. Well, there's these two 2 foot long metal hooks that you poke through the window that keep it from bending in the wrong direction.

Just kidding, it does look like it will work though. It whould be embarrasing to Honda that they didn't think of this instead of the dumb styro-foam roll thing. Their engineers are overpaid.

Does anyone know if this device will help with the "hole on the top" problem or will it make it worse? As we all know, the hole problem is caused by the way the top folds, so a few tops have the problem while most other tops do not. But if the tops are now always folding in the same way, will it cause the folds to rub and wear worse? Or better? Any thoughts?

I use a piece of carpet in the rear window bay to prevent scuffing (Muzmat). I've never had problems with the window scratching on the outside. I've heard people say that the window scratches by folding on to itself, but no problems here. This device will help control the consistency of the window fold. It helps it to fold straight across as oppossed to in the center and trying to knot up and wrinkle.
