I now have a manufacturer producing them, so my cost went up a bit. It's a lot higher quality product now. That's for sure. When I get my first shipment in, I will send one out to those who received the originals. All I will ask for is shipping charges. I'm so glad that I can contribute to the S2000 community for such a well known problem with the plastic window.

Til next time.

I'm confused on how this thing would work, is the material elactic? are you just attaching the band to the top by vecro? if so wouldn't that just wear out over time?

Thanks for posting the videos. It certainly looks like an effective, simple, and inexpensive solution.

There is already elastic being used on the top above your head, so I don't imagine that the elastic would wear enough to matter over time.

those videos made me into a believer.

$15 is a drop in the bucket when compared to the price of a new window!

question. In one of the early posts in this thread Chiung mentioned he was tired of use the 'tube'. IMO the tube is designed to prevent/reduce scratching vs your's to eliiminate/reduce wrinkles. Right?

not the elastic, I'm talking about whether if this is attached by velcro, and my question was if it was attached by velcro wouldn't it wear out over time?
