Default Plate number 2QHT516

Hello guys, i bought a red 2000 S2000 last year, on novenber to be more specific, and i really want to know what happened to the car before, I live in El Salvador, and there are two more s2k in the country, a friend of mine bought the car in Las Vegas and the plate number is 2QHT516, a california plate, when i get the car, i found it in perfect mint condition, no scratches, a couple of door dings and a lot of crushed bug in the fender, the person who sold me the car was a used car dealer, he said the driver's door was crashed, but replaced it and painted, but then I found a lot details that seems odd, such as, the left signal is a little bit out from it's position, the trunk seems not to be align (seems to be a little bit rised up from the left), there are a lot but a lot of missing screw, i found today on some places of the body there are putty on it, but the engine, the hood, the soft top, the seats and the console dash seems to be fine, theres a couple of dings on the dash, i don't know what the hell happened to my s2k, but seems to be crashed very badly, if you know what happened or you owned it, tell me the story of the car, the car cost me 26k.

You could provide the VIN number and have somebody with carfax check it for you.

Damn...what a bummer! Hopefully someone with Carfax will be able to provide you with a history of the car if you provide the VIN.

Sorry to hear that....
but just put it this way.
your car has issues and problems, but they all can fix by $$
after all you still own that car and you will have fun driving that car
you already bought the car, you should enjoy the car instead being regretful.
that car just need a little bit more time and $$ to work out, and it is still a Honda S2000

try not to worry too much.
and be more careful to check the car and owner history when you buy a used car next time.

good luck, hope everything turn out good to you

A salvage title means that it was a rebuild from a total... I'm sorry to tell you! Did you know this when you bought the car? Perhaps you have recourse from the seller.
