Default plati dip help

So I just platidipped my windshield frame back to black cause I didn't want to fight with vinyl. But I was being lazy and didn't cover my full car. I just taped around the rubber modings and then put a bunch of computer paper lined up around it. Well I took the tape and paper off right away so the platidip wouldn't stick to it. Well I took it off and there is platidip scattered around my windshield and hood but not a lot. You can't see it you can only feel it (bumpy) if I lick my finger and rub it on my hood and windshield it comes off perfectly. Now my question is, is all that stuff going to come off when I wash it? Or am I going to struggle to get it off? Is it coming off fairly easy with my finger because its not completly dry yet.? Let me hear some opinions from you plastidip experts! Thanks!

Well for the windshield, you can use a razor blade and it will definitely come off. Water and a razor blade easily scrape any kind of glue or dirt off glass. This is also how shops take off tint. As for the hood, it should come off with a wash. Just make sure you use a sponge to wipe it away when it's wet.

All you have to do is rub it off. If its just small spots, I'd think it would come off with a wash. Clay bar would work also, but it's probably unnecessary.

I used a clay bar to prevent any marring that could occur from rubbing my paint with a finger . It was easier too.

The previous owner removed the tape so I don't have any pics of it with the vinyl and I wanted to get that black look again so I thought the easiest way was to platidip it because I heard reaplying the vinyl was a b***h. I think it came out pretty good with the plastidip and it was rather easy. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow

I don't get why you wouldn't just paint it if you're masking the frame anyway. What's the benefit of using Plastidip?
