Default Please Help

I have a 350Z and my gf has a Black 2002 S2000 that is just badd @ss!
I love teh car but lately it has been having weird issues that I decided to ask the experts here about.

1st: If I turn the key and then hit start the car just struggles idle and then dies. If I turn the key and wait for 1 minute or so the car starts up just fine.

2nd: At about 3500-4000 RPM the car almost humps is teh best way I can put it. It wants to urge forward but it just put puts and then goes and then put puts again. Also during VTEC it does not feel like a smooth rush of power but a choppy on and off power delivery.

I took it to Honda for her 2 times but they look the car over and say its fine. It stalled on me 3 times today and I just wanted to know if any of teh experts here have any idea what is going on so that I know what to tell them when I take it it.

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Try a search on "MAP sensor" and ask the Honda dealer to check/change the MAP sensor.

I'm no motor head, but I've seen enough references here to suggest it is a good lead.

Get an OBDII printout and see what that says.

Think about fuel problems/filters/pumps/injectors.

Pure speculation here, but my initial thought was fuel also. The waiting for a minute thing - it's like the car is having trouble pressurinzing the fuel system...

Could it be this?

I have not experienced these issues myself, but just thought they sounded kind of similar...
