Also check your throttle cable tension and adjust accordingly. You may have too much slack in the cable which may cause the "humping" problem and the stalling you spoke of. There have been a few threads on this. I adjusted mine and the car responds much better. However, it also sounds like it could be a MAP sensor problem like others have suggested.

Any mods on the car? CAI or exhaust?

no mods as far as I know. But when she bought the car I popped the hood and saw a HUGE Yellow cone shaped intake filter. Is that aftermarket or stock?

If it is in a big plastic box, it is stock w/o the top.

Yeah it has the box over it.
How does the S2k respond to intake/exhaust mods. I know my 350Z does not respond well at all to them.

From what I've seen you'll only pick up a few HP here and there with doing and aftermarket intake and/or exhaust. Some people have actually lost HP but if you like the sound then do it for that reason and not for more power. Some exhaust systems also give you a weight savings.

Ok I just got the car back from Honda today.
The tech was a very cool guy who told me that they loosened the valves back to recommended specs and he started the cars ECU over. He said it will have to learn everything again as if for the first time.

Is that the same as a reflash?
Anyway...car runs great again !
